A Field Manual for the Uninitiated
Someone at this table is a killer.

NoirTable turns an ordinary dinner into an immersive, AI-driven murder mystery. Every guest becomes a suspect. Every drink holds a clue. The killer hides among your friends. Over the course of one meal — roughly an hour — you all work together (and against each other) to solve the case before time runs out.
An AI-crafted whodunit generated fresh for your venue and menu — no two nights are the same.
Built for dinner parties and full restaurants. Everyone plays a part.
Your real food and drinks become in-game clues and character signals.
Three timed acts — Discovery, Interrogation, and the Verdict.
A NoirTable night unfolds in three pulse-phases, synced across every phone in the room.
Every phone in the room turns blood-red. The victim is revealed. Panic — and curiosity — sets in as guests realize one of them is the killer.
A live countdown begins. Guests trade clues, form shaky alliances, scan the menu for hidden fragments, and quietly press each other for alibis.
Time's up. Every guest casts a vote for who they believe did it. Accusations fly, the killer is unmasked, and the night ends with a champion.

You don't download anything. After you scan in, you get a private dashboard no other player can see. It holds your identity, your clues, your intel credits — everything you need to play the part.
Step 1
Scan the QR code at your table to create your suspect file. No app to download — just your phone.
Step 2
The AI assigns you a noir character — a name, a backstory, an alibi, and a secret motive. Guard it.
Step 3
Your character has a signature drink or dish. Order it when you're ready to be approached — it's your in-world calling card.
Step 4
Collect clues from the menu, trade intel with other suspects, and build your case before time runs out.
Step 5
Accuse the killer. If the table catches the murderer, the Detective wins. If the killer escapes, they win.

Each guest starts with a small stash of "Local Leads" — session-only intel credits. Spend them to unlock deeper clues or send tips (the killer can spend them to send fake ones). They reset every new game and never leave your venue.
Real menu items are tagged as clue carriers. Scan a drink or dish to reveal a clue fragment tied to the night's story. Some items are locked behind a "menu quest" — order it to unlock the intel.

One guest secretly is the murderer. They know the truth and must misdirect — plant fake tips, fabricate alibis, and survive the final vote. If they escape accusation, they win.
One guest is appointed detective and earns extra credit for a correct accusation. Everyone else is a prime suspect — each with their own secret motive and alibi to defend.
The rest of the table receives a character name, backstory, secret motive, and alibi. Your job: look guilty enough to be interesting, innocent enough to survive the vote.
Running a night is as simple as it gets — the game largely runs itself. Your staff get real-time cue cards (who to whisper to, what prop to deliver), and guests drive the action from their phones.

AI builds a full mystery around your menu and room.

Just their phone and a willingness to accuse their friends.
